Propel SEL~ Community Conversations

Thank you to all who joined Sprockets in shaping the conversation about how our network can best support social emotional learning and development (SEL) in youth.  We have completed our St. Paul conversations but want to invite you to consider one of the regional opportunities if you missed one of the local ones.

Propel SEL Initiative
A Social and Emotional Learning Initiative supported by
Carlson Family Foundation and
Greater Twin Cities United Way

Greater Twin Cities United Way and the Carlson Family Foundation invite you to join us to shape the conversation about how youth workers/practitioners in mentoring and out-of-school time can best support social emotional learning and development (SEL) in middle/high school & opportunity youth. We will host community conversations in November and December with youth, youth work practitioners, mentors, leaders in youth development and out-of-school time learning, and systems stakeholders and funders within the nine-county metropolitan area.

There is a growing evidence base around the importance of SEL, and practitioners and the public are paying more attention to supporting it. Youth development and out-of-school time programs have long supported SEL development in young people. Greater Twin Cities United Way and the Carlson Family Foundation are leading a regional initiative, Propel SEL, to refine and declare our efforts as a field of practitioners committed to best supporting SEL outcomes in youth.

Join us to add your voice to the conversation and help shape this effort! Please note that target audiences are included in an effort to deepen the conversation but each session is open to all. Register today for a conversation near you. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
