Policy Debate Programming

  • Hybrid - in person tournaments will be held at area schools in the Twin Cities

VOICE. POWER. CHANGE. The Minnesota Urban Debate League is a program of Augsburg University. We provide academic competitive debate programming to Twin Cities middle and high schools. Our goal is to empower students to become engaged learners, critical thinkers, and effective advocates for themselves and their community by using debate skills. Join our free debate programming to sharpen your academic skills and gain practice at public speaking, argumentation, and research- all while having fun in a competitive environment. You'll have an opportunity to speak your mind on multiple angles of complex issues. This year's topic is protection of water resources. You'll also make friends within your school, with other competitors, and work closely with caring coaches. Join today!

Practice dates and times vary by school. See tournament calendar here: https://www.augsburg.edu/urbandebateleague/high-school-debate/schedule/
