Developing a Field of Afterschool Leaders

Sprockets NAA article

A field is not made of one organization alone, which is why Sprockets has been intentional since its early development to engage and develop leaders in mulitple areas. We see development of afterschool leaders as vital to ensuring a strong sustainable field of youth work, elevating a diverse group of leaders that will strengthen the youth work field right here in Saint Paul.

The National Afterschool Association's AfterSchool Today recently published an article highlighting the variety of ways Sprockets works to support the development of leaders throughout the network.  You can read the article HERE, and you can also sign up for a free NAA membership to support you professionally as well.

You can also follow along on our Facebook page as we highlight Sprockets colleagues who are providing leadership in a variety of ways.  Partners provide leadership through planning and facilitation of network meetings, facilitating workshops, sitting on advisory councils, providing External Assessments and more!
