Future Solution Now (Project FUSON)

  • Project FUSON is a special program in Ramsey County aimed at helping girls with African roots succeed in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Its goal is to break down the barriers these girls face and guide them toward being financially independent.

    Here’s what Project FUSON offers:

    • STEM Career Training: This part of the program helps girls learn about and get excited about careers in STEM through hands-on activities and real-world examples.
    • Life Skills Workshops: These sessions teach important life skills like confidence, problem-solving, and how to handle challenges, which are important for success in both personal and professional life.
    • Financial Literacy Training: Girls will learn how to manage money, make smart financial decisions, and understand the basics of economics, which are crucial for their future success.
    • Entrepreneurship Workshops: Girls will learn how to start and run their own businesses, focusing on how to use their unique backgrounds and cultural knowledge to succeed in the marketplace.

Project FUSON is more than just a learning program; it’s a step toward creating a future where girls of African Ancestry in Ramsey County can see themselves as leaders and innovators in STEM fields, ready to take on the world with their skills and knowledge.
