Teens Know Best Book Club

  • Teens Know Best (TKB) program participants are 12-18 years old, and they review and evaluate advance copies of young adult books. (That's right - EXCLUSIVE, advance copies of books that are not yet available to the public!)

TKB members meet once a month to share their feedback in person with each other. TKB is one of 16 teen groups in the country whose opinions are shared with publishers to help guide publishing decisions. The group's opinions also help determine the Young Adult Library Services Association's annual Teens' Top Ten book award nominees.

TKB is a collaborative program of Metropolitan State University and the Saint Paul Public Library. We meet in tfirst-flooroor lounge of the shared Metropolitan State University Library/Dayton’s Bluff Library at 645 E.7th Street, St. Paul on the second Tuesday of each month, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  Interested? Fill out the Online Application Form which can be found at http://www.metrostate.edu/student/learning-resources/learning-resources/library-and-information-services/teens-know-best or come to a meeting and apply there.
